Question of the day
Is it possible to create a digital document from a YouTube Video?
(question from Reddit)
This is very easy and you can use Designrr software to transcribe audio/video to text and even add design to it. We tried it and gave it a 1 hour long video tutorial from our recent lecture and we created a fully designed book about it (to be used as follow up learning material).
Transforming Video Content into a Valuable eBook
In the digital age, content repurposing is a strategic way to reach a wider audience and maximize the value of your original content. With Designrr, turning a YouTube video or your own uploaded video into an engaging eBook is not only possible but also surprisingly simple. Here’s how you can do it:
Step 1: Choose Your Video Content Select a YouTube video or upload your own video that provides valuable information you wish to share in eBook format. Ensure the content is relevant to your target audience and aligns with your brand message.
Step 2: Transcribe the Video Designrr offers a seamless transcription service that converts your video’s audio into text. Simply paste the YouTube link or upload your video file, and Designrr will handle the transcription process.
Step 3: Edit and Customize Once transcribed, you can edit the text to refine the content, add your personal touch, and ensure it reads well as an eBook. Designrr’s editor allows you to format text, insert images, and choose from various design templates to create a professional look.
Step 4: Design Your eBook With the text ready, dive into Designrr’s design features. Select a template that suits your content’s tone and style. Customize the layout, add branding elements like logos and colors, and ensure the visual appeal matches the quality of your content.
Step 5: Publish and Share After designing your eBook, it’s time to publish. Designrr enables you to export your eBook in multiple formats suitable for e-readers, tablets, and more. Share your eBook with your audience via email, social media, or on your website.
Leveraging Designrr’s AI Features For those looking to expedite the process, Designrr’s AI-powered feature, WordGenie, can generate eBook content based on your chosen niche and target audience. It suggests titles, generates content, and allows for customization to ensure uniqueness and relevance.
Conclusion Designrr is a powerful tool that bridges the gap between video content and written material, allowing creators to repurpose their videos into valuable eBooks. By following these steps, you can transform your video content into a resource that educates, entertains, and engages your audience in a whole new format.
Our learning follow up book looked very nice as work material. The design was simple but good for this purpose. For serious book design, we would go for the paid version. We used a free 7-day trial for Designrr Premium, and later it was $49/month.

Comparing Top AI Image-Generating Software - you just use the best
We receive a bunch of advertising from tens of image-generating tools and apps, with promises of amazing capabilities. But when you try them, many are horrible to the point of coshame (when you are ashamed for others), so we decided to try them and list which seemed the best. Let’s dive in.
Today, we're taking a closer look at three of the leading AI image generators: DaVinci, ChatGPT Pro image generator, and Bing Copilot Designer. These tools are transforming the landscape of digital art and design, enabling users to create detailed and imaginative visuals from simple text prompts.
Testing the Tools with a Unified Prompt
To compare the performance of DaVinci, ChatGPT Pro image generator, and Bing Copilot Designer, we used the following prompt:
"Make me a realistic photo of a man standing on the Moon, looking at the Earth that looks all built up and overtaken by artificial intelligence. This is in the future, so a piece of Earth is missing, and there is an atmosphere trail around it. The man on the Moon is wearing a tight futuristic suit like Star Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy."
Comparative Analysis
Each AI tool brought unique strengths to the image generation process:
- DaVinci: Known for its high-quality and detailed images, DaVinci produced a visually stunning portrayal of the man on the Moon. We received three images to choose from. The Earth in the background was intricately detailed, but without any sign of AI visible on Earth, so not showing a high level of adherence to the prompt. DaVinci offers 3 free credits and then 50 more for $9,99.
Result by DaVinci
- ChatGPT Pro image generator: This tool offered only one image, but excelled in creating dynamic compositions, with the man and the Moon positioned in an engaging and realistic manner. The futuristic elements were well-integrated into the scene. Earth is well-recognizable, and there is a nice indication that it is in the future and that AI might have taken over. The downside is that ChatGPT PRO costs $20/month, and there is no free version.
Result by OpenAI PRO (image generator)
- Bing Copilot Designer: Bing's AI showed strong capabilities in generating futuristic environments. We were offered 4 images to choose from. The atmospheric effects and the missing piece of Earth were creatively executed. We used a subscription to Microsoft 365 to access it for free.
Result by Bing Copilot Designer
Most searched AI Image-Generating Tools
Below is a list of ten other AI image-generating tools, ranked by the search volume they receive in Google:
1. DALL-E 2: Frequently asked about due to its novelty and wide range of capabilities, but OpenAI has closed free Dall-e 2 version from 1st of April 2024 and only Dall-e 3 is available in paid version of ChatGPT PRO (image generator).
2. Midjourney: Popular among designers for its unique artistic flair. For many people this is the No 1 image generator.
3. Artbreeder: Known for blending multiple images to create new visuals.
4. Deep Dream: Gains interest for its surreal, dream-like image transformations.
5. Runway ML: Appreciated in creative industries for easy integration with other tools.
6. VQGAN+CLIP: Attracts tech-savvy users interested in deep learning research.
7. Craiyon (formerly DALL-E Mini): Often mentioned for its accessibility and simplicity.
8. Stable Diffusion: New on the scene but quickly gaining traction for high-resolution images.
9. DeepArt: Known for transforming photos into artworks in the styles of famous painters.
10. Luminar AI: Frequently discussed among photographers for its automated editing features.
Conclusion
AI image generators are rapidly evolving, offering increasingly sophisticated tools for artists, designers, and enthusiasts. By comparing these tools using a standard prompt, we compared their capabilities so we can better choose the right tool for specific creative needs. Our top pick would be Bing Copilot Designer. There is a pretty big chance you already have a Microsoft 365 subscription, and then you can use Copilot for free (almost unlimited prompts).
