How many times have you gone through album photos that were made a few years ago and thought: “oh, they are good but the quality is not good.” Well, AI has a solution to your problem. We decided to try the Remini app. That is a photo enhancement app that utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to bring blurry, grainy, or damaged photos into sharper focus. Founders of the app particularly point out that they are adept at enhancing facial features in older photographs, making them appear more lifelike.

Signing Up for Remini:

• Go to the website remini.ai or download an app on your phone.

• Open the app or website and choose your preferred sign-up method: email, Facebook, or Google.

• Follow the instructions to create your account or link your existing social media account.

• Once signed in, you'll be ready to start enhancing your photos.

Everything is pretty straightforward. Upload photos you want to enhance. Remini will briefly analyze the photo. Once the analysis is complete, you'll see a split-screen preview with the original photo on one side and the enhanced version on the other. If you're happy with the results, tap the checkmark button (usually located at the bottom of the screen) to save the enhanced photo. There is also an option if you use a mobile app to create a whole new artistic interpretation of the photo using AI; some versions of Remini might offer an "AI Photos" option. Case scenario:

Like many others we have a bunch of old mobile photos from like 15 years ago. Technology has advanced so much so nowadays those photos are quite low quality. We uploaded a photo that we wanted enchanted. Within seconds the result was here and quite good. The after photo has much more details and it is much better.

The verdict:  We give Remini 4.5/5 on the LMAI scale. You can see the options with a free 7 days trial, also the quality of the result is quite good. But with close-up faces, it can get a bit unrealistic. We all do not look like perfect models. Also, it might be good to consider the quality of the original photo before using Remini. Heavily damaged photos might not yield the best results, but if you want to have better-resolution photos, Remini won us over.
