It wasn’t so long ago when AI became so powerful that a lot of people were afraid that they would be replaced by AI. We think you do not have to worry about that but rather use AI for your benefit. So, we wanted to see yet another AI app for writing. Cedille.ai is an NLP (Natural Language Processing) platform that you can use to process various text types. From writing birthday cards to copywriting, Cedille.ai has quite diverse things to offer. 

Signing Up for Free Tier:

1. Head over to Cedille's website at https://cedille.ai/.

2. Click on the "Get Started" button.

3. Choose your preferred signup method: email and password or Google account login.

4. Once registered, you'll be directed to your Cedille dashboard, where you can explore the free features.

Cedille offers a quite nice free plan with 25 generations for the first 14 days and then 10 generations a month. This can include rewriting sentences, summarizing short articles, or trying out simple text generation prompts. It also has quite a good pricing range.

Pros:

• Multi Text Processing: Cedille offers a toolbox for various text tasks – generation, rewriting, summarization, and even writing a story or checking your text for grammar and spelling mistakes. This versatility is really quite good. Leveraging AI, Cedille helps create high-quality content, generate drafts, and rewrite existing text, boosting productivity.

Cons: 

• Focus on General Writing: Technical writing or code generation might not be Cedille's forte. Also, information on the specific language models and their capabilities might be scarce for advanced users.  Free writing is only available in French and German

Case scenario: 

We have seen that Cedille has a French open-source language model, but we tried the English one. First off we headed to writing a story. We decided to make a thriller story, because we thought “why not”. We picked a thriller from the drop menu and made up the beginning. 

“A young man and woman found a dead body in the streets of New York. It is the middle of June, and they are there for their dream wedding but the person murdered is the mum of the groom” 

Within seconds, Cedille gave us more than 1800 characters of our story. 

It was quite good since we only gave it really basic information. 😮😮

Later, we tried the copywriting part. We decided to make a copy of our newsletter. We decided to provide pretty basic information about our newsletter. Within seconds, it gave us a copy. It was not perfect, but with a little editing, it can be quite good.

Verdict

Cedille.ai is a really cool app for writers, content creators, and students. Do we see a lot of people using it for maybe paper writing? Probably yes. Its text generation, rewriting, and summarization versatility can improve workflow efficiency. Maybe you need some editing to give it the perfect touch. We give it 4/5 on LMAI scale for everyday writing. It would be even better if you could write freely in English too. Also, you might have to find another app for highly technical writing or in-depth control over the creative process.

It doesn’t matter what kind of industry you are in, marketing and ads are likely to be something that you are interested or involved in. But with AI, you do not have to spend a lot of time creating perfect video ads or social media videos. At least, that is what Creatify AI says. It is a web-based platform that uses artificial intelligence to generate short marketing videos. User-friendly app allow anyone to create professional-looking ads without needing video editing skills.

You will also get 10 free credits to start exploring what Creatify has to offer. Otherwise, there are different options that you can pay for. Some are quite good. 

Once you have done the introduction, you can start making your own video. 

Here is our case scenario

First things first, Creatify will ask you to provide a product or upload your own video/images. We linked likemagicai.com. Within seconds, it analyzed it and gave us a choice from 2 different scripts. It also gave us the opportunity to generate photos for us. We decided to go with the first script and Creatify to generate photos for us. 

Soon enough it gave us a chance to customize style. First off you can preview the style you like the most and then afterwards change music and voiceover as well.

 Once satisfied, Creatif AI will process your request and generate your video ad. You can then download it for use on social media platforms or your website. In the free version your video will be downloaded with a watermark, but you get to see it in full. 

Pro:

• Quite good AI-Powered Video Creation: Saves time and resources compared to traditional video production.💵💵

• Customization Options: This option allows you to tailor videos to your brand and target audience and choose the style you like best. 

• Text-to-Speech Feature: Provides realistic voiceovers in various languages.

Cons:

• Potential for Repetition: With a large user base, there's a chance you'll see similar ads created with Creatify.😞😞

Verdict: 

After initial testing, we quite liked the Creatify. Sure, there are other AI video creation tools out there, but we liked how straightforward it is. It's like having a pocket-sized video production studio that pumps out video content in minutes. We do have some worries that it might produce quite similar content after some time, but there are always customization options that will bring a human touch to the ads. So, we give it 4/5 on the LMAI scale. It would be great if they give a bit more free credit to see how it works and maybe not place a watermark on the trial video. In this way, you could test it with your audience on social media and, if successful, decide to come back for more. But that’s just how we would do it!
