Hi fam!
AI is getting bigger.
Not just in the “new model, slightly better benchmark” kind of way.
We're seeing AI move deeper into businesses, longer workflows, advertising, cybersecurity and even the infrastructure behind the tools themselves.
The future of AI feels Like Magic, and it’s here!

This week brought some seriously interesting moves. Here are 5 AI stories worth knowing. 👇
Google has unveiled Gemini 4 Argon, its new frontier model built for complex, long-running workflows across software engineering, legal and finance work, and cybersecurity. It is initially being rolled out to trusted cyber defenders before broader access.
Why this matters: AI is increasingly being designed to handle multi-step work, rather than simply answer individual questions.
Anthropic has launched the Claude Frontier Academy, a $100 million program aimed at training 10,000 engineers by the end of 2027 to help companies move AI projects from experiments into real production environments.
Why this matters: The next big AI bottleneck may not be access to models — it may be having people who know how to actually implement them inside a business.
French AI company Mistral has unveiled Mistral Large 4, a multimodal model with around one trillion total parameters. The model is designed for coding, reasoning and other demanding workloads, with its weights planned for public release later this month.
Why this matters: Open-weight AI is becoming a much more serious alternative to proprietary models — especially for companies that want more control over their data and infrastructure.
Reflection AI has previewed Beam, a 501-billion-parameter open-weight model focused on coding, reasoning and agentic workloads. The model is currently going through final safety evaluations, with weights expected later this month.
Why this matters: The open-model race is heating up, giving developers more alternatives to the big closed AI labs.
OpenAI announced a new visual advertising format for ChatGPT, with testing planned in the U.S. later this month. Sponsored products and services can appear visually while users explore ideas and generate images; OpenAI says the ads will remain separate from ChatGPT's answers and generated content.
Why this matters: AI could create an entirely new advertising environment — one where brands appear inside the discovery process, rather than simply next to search results.

Stop Saying “Make It Better”
Stop Saying “Make It Better”
“Make this better” sounds simple.
But better how?
Next time you give AI something you've written, tell it what kind of improvement you actually want.
Try:
“Keep my ideas and voice. Improve only clarity, structure and flow. Don't make it sound more corporate.”
Or:
“Make this shorter without removing any important information.”
Or:
“Make this more persuasive, but don't make it more aggressive.”
The more specific the type of improvement, the less likely AI is to rewrite your text into something that sounds like everyone else's.

Stop Using AI as a Chatbot. Give It a Job.
People still use AI like Google: ask a question, get an answer, move on.
A much better approach is to give AI a specific role + context + goal + output format.
For example, instead of:
“Write me a social media post about our new product.”
Try:
“You are a social media strategist for a small creative business. Based on the product information below, create 3 Instagram posts: one educational, one playful and one sales-focused. Keep each under 80 words. Avoid generic marketing language and make the first sentence attention-grabbing.”
Same AI.
Same information.
Much better result.
And you can take this one step further.
Create a reusable AI job description for tasks you do repeatedly.
For example:
JOB: Newsletter Editor
GOAL: Turn rough notes into a clear, engaging newsletter.
AUDIENCE: Busy professionals interested in AI.
STYLE: Smart, relaxed, no hype.
OUTPUT: Headline → short intro → main story → practical takeaway.
RULES: No clichés. No unnecessary adjectives. Keep paragraphs short.
Now, every time you have a new newsletter, you don't have to explain everything again.
Just give AI the new material and say:
“Do the job.”
That little shift — from asking AI questions to assigning AI jobs — is one of the easiest ways to make AI genuinely useful in your everyday workflow.

From the Archive: We Went Fishing in the GPT Ocean. Here Are the 15 Tools We’d Keep If We Were Shipwrecked.
Remember when Custom GPTs felt like the next big thing?
Back in 2025, we went exploring and found a whole ocean of specialized GPTs — from productivity and research tools to creative assistants and surprisingly useful niche experiments.
So we did what any responsible AI explorers would do: we picked the 15 GPTs we’d actually keep if we were shipwrecked.
It’s a fun little trip back to the early days of the AI assistant explosion — and a good reminder that sometimes the best AI tool isn't another new app. It’s simply an assistant built to do one specific thing really well.

Like Magic AI NFT 🏞️
Our master plan is to publish an NFT image in each newsletter and hand it out to our subscribers. The earlier you subscribe, the smaller the series are. It's a future collectible, a piece of digital art that captures the essence of this moment in time.
Thank you for being a valued subscriber. Together, let's embrace the magic of AI and creativity!
