Let’s dive into the magic. 🌟

🧠 January 2025: AI News You’ll Actually Care About

🚀 OpenAI’s O1 Model: Smarter, Pricier - OpenAI dropped their new full o1 model, and it’s a beast for reasoning and decision-making. It’s almost twice the cost of GPT-4 Turbo, so you better need that brainpower. You can use it unlimited through ChatGPT Pro subscription at $200 per month. To avoid confusion, already in September 2024, OpenAI released "o1-preview" and "o1-mini," and the full "o1" model is their full-scale brother.

🐧 DeepMind’s Gemini 2.0 Is Here - Google just dropped Gemini 2.0, and it’s a multi-modal AI marvel. Think visual reasoning + language tasks combined into one insanely smart package. Try it out and be amazed!

🦾 Meta Unveils MusicGen: Zuck's New Groove Machine - Meta recently unveiled MusicGen, an AI tool that creates high-quality, royalty-free music based on user input. Dubbed "Music Magic," this innovation promises to revolutionize music production for creators everywhere. But recent reviews are not so great… 👇

🌶️ Claude 3.5: Faster, Better, Cheaper? - Anthropic’s Claude 3.5 is out, and it’s smarter and quicker than ever. It’s gunning for GPT’s spot in enterprise tools, and companies are already loving it.

🧞‍♂️ Microsoft Copilot Is Everywhere - Microsoft isn’t slowing down—Copilot now works in Teams, Outlook, and Dynamics 365. Basically, it’s your new workplace assistant, and it’s terrifyingly efficient. The funny thing is that when you open a document in a browser, multiple AI tools start to fight to offer you assistance.

🤒 The EU's AI Act Is Real - Europe, as a World leader in bureaucracy, just passed strict rules on AI with its new AI Act. If your AI is “high risk,” you’ll have hoops to jump through—or big fines to pay.

💵 NVIDIA’s Bank Account Says “Thanks” - NVIDIA’s AI chips are selling faster than they can make them. They’re officially the backbone of generative AI, and their profits prove it.

🌍 Google Health’s MedPalm 3 Is a Doctor Now - MedPalm 3 is diagnosing patients with 95% accuracy. It’s like having Dr. AI in your pocket—but don’t toss out your human doctors just yet.

AI in January? Absolute fire.🔥

Imagine this: you have a brilliant idea for an app, but coding feels like deciphering alien hieroglyphs. Enter Replit, the AI-powered tool that takes you from “What if?” to “It’s live!” in hours.

It was founded by a guy named Amjad Masad, who grew up in Jordan teaching himself to code, he had this idea: “What if you could code directly on the Internet, in a browser?”. And Replit does just that and with AI makes app development as easy as pie. Replit AI assistant, Ghostwriter, writes, debugs, and explains code for you. And at the end it will deploy it for you.

Here’s how to get started: 1. Sign up at Replit.com. 2. Pick a template (game, website, chatbot, it’s your call). 3. Let Ghostwriter handle the coding magic. 4. Hit deploy and share your creation with the world. 🌍

🚀 OpenAI’s New Tool: Tasks – Your Productivity Cheat Code

OpenAI just dropped Tasks, and it’s basically a turbocharged personal assistant that works right inside your ChatGPT app. If you’ve been looking for a way to automate the boring stuff in your life or business, this is it.

What’s the deal?
Tasks lets you create, manage, and automate workflows without needing to be a tech wizard. Think of it like Zapier but on steroids—and way easier to use. Want to automatically log meeting notes, send follow-up emails, or even schedule tweets? Just tell Tasks what you need, and it’s done. No complicated setup, no third-party integrations.

We attempted various writing tasks, including the use of incorrect words and voice command tasks, and all were comprehended perfectly.

How do I get started?
Simple:

  1. Open ChatGPT and go to the Explore GPT Features section / or click on your profile image to open the meni.

  2. Click on Tasks and try out the pre-built templates (like task reminders or content workflows).

  3. Customize workflows or build your own with step-by-step guidance.

Why does this matter?
Tasks cuts out the middleman. You don’t need five apps or hours of your time to get something done. It’s all in one place—your ChatGPT app. Plus, with its AI smarts, Tasks doesn’t just follow your instructions; it predicts what you’ll need next. It's like having a second brain for your to-do list. All of this sounds great, but we are not used to having a know-it-all assistant that remembers all of the things you said. I am still trying it out, but it seems to be really good to combine my scheduling on the computer and the alerts that it gives me on my phone (*you have to enable mobile notification).

If you’ve got big goals and little time, Tasks might just be the MVP you didn’t know you needed. Go play with it, and thank me later.
