Text-to-video apps are getting better and better

For the last more than 40 newsletters we have tried out many of the apps that can make your life easier. And the truth is we can not get enough of it. AI tools are developing within minutes and are getting better and better. So this time we decided to try out another video and audio app that can make your life easier. It is Fliki. It is a really cool text-to-video platform that has revolutionized content creation for individuals and small businesses.  Fliki transforms written content into engaging video formats within minutes.  

Fliki stands out from other tools because it combines text-to-video AI and text-to-speech AI capabilities, and it also supports over 80 different languages, which is a really cool feature.

Pros:

• Time-Saving: Using Fliki seriously reduces video production time.

• Low cost and diversity: This eliminates the need for professional video production, and videos are suitable for a wide range of content, from marketing to education.

• Easy to use: The whole platform is quite straightforward, and you can easily navigate through and make whatever you want without much hassle. 

• Plans: Fliki offers really good plans. You get five minutes of video making for free each month which is really cool if you want to see what this platform has to offer. Otherwise, paid plans are quite good as well. With the free version you will not get all the features that you get with paid plan but still it is great for trying it out. 

Cons:

• Limited Customization: While offering a decent level of customization, where you can move scenes around and delete them, some more advanced users might want even more “hands-on” editing than the standard one. But this is mostly the case with all text-to-video apps, and we have a feeling that even this might change in the future. 

Case scenario: 

As always, we wanted to try out what Fliki has to offer. We headed to the text-to-video section and decided to give it a try with just an idea. There are quite a few video styles that you can choose from. We decided to go with the default “cinematic” one and gave it quite a poor prompt: “Inspiring video on how AI is changing our lives, especially for business. Include CTA for our Likemagicai newsletter.”

Quite quickly, it gave us a preview video. The scenes and sentences were quite good. Erasing and changing scenes was also really easy and quick. Thumbs up! We decided not to change it much. Once satisfied, you can download your video and use it. If you have a free plan, your video will have a watermark, but with a paid plan, you can have it without a watermark.💵😎 

Overall: 

Fliki is a great tool for anyone who is looking for a tool that can help you save time in creating videos, from small businesses to teachers and authors. Its user-friendly interface and straightforward usage, combined with advanced AI capabilities, free version, and speed, are really impressive. We give it a high 4.5 out of 5 in our LMAI scale. 

Is this the best text-to-audio tool? 

Making videos for YouTube, podcasts, social media posts, and even audiobooks with AI voices is getting more and more popular. The same goes for the tools that offer that kind of work and have simplified this process for many. Text-to-speech tools have surely opened the space for individuals to transform written content into high-quality audio without needing professional voice actors or expensive recording studios. One of the most reviewed tools is ElevenLabs.  This AI powerhouse, as many call it, offers really cool features, including text-to-speech conversion, voice cloning, a vast voice library and sound library making, and even audio enhancement. ElevenLabs offers audio output instantly as text is inputted, and it offers it in different languages, not only in English. 

Pros:

• Great voice quality: The voices are really human-like, and that is probably the best thing about ElevenLabs. 

• Versatility: Suitable for a wide range of applications, including voiceovers, audiobooks, character voices

• User-Friendly: The platform is intuitive, making it accessible to all users, no matter their knowledge.

• Free version: ElevenLabs offers a free trial to try out some of its offerings. Otherwise, there is a range of paid options for everyone. 

Cons:

• Some have reservations: Like any powerful technology, there's a risk of misuse with voice impersonation that is quite realistic. But this technology is here, and we can use it to our advantage, with moral limitations.

Case scenario: 

We browsed  ElevenLabs and what it offers, and we are really pleased with it. When you sign up, you get 10000 characters for free, which is really nice. We tried the text-to-speech, and it is great. As soon as we pasted the text, ElevenLabs generated a voice-over, which works great. You can change voices and find the right one for you. There is a detailed description of the voices so you can easily find the right one. It also offers output in different languages, which is great.  There is also a massive library of sounds that you can use, but you need to upgrade your account to download them. From animal sounds to SI-Fi sounds, it is an impressive archive.

Verdict: 

 ElevenLabs is a really good platform for voiceovers. We love its ability to generate with high speed and the voice quality is really good. The whole platform is so easy to use. You can have fun with it, like ask it to tell you a joke or make you dramatic movie scenes that can be quite fun for social media videos. We give ElevenLabs 5/5 on our LMAI scale. We loved how good the voices were in our test and how easily it was created. And we have zero tech skills.
